Tim Burton Found His Alice in Wonderland

No name cast and that's about all there is to it

Mia Wasikowska
I wish this bit of news was more interesting, but the report that Tim Burton has found an actor to star as Alice in his live-action adaptation of Lewis Carroll's classic fantasy novel "Alice in Wonderland" is a bit dull considering the individual chosen is an unknown.

Australian actress Mia Wasikowska is set to star as the tumbling little girl who will fall down the rabbit role for Burton's big budget project.

Linda Woolverton (The Lion King) wrote the script and the film itself will be shot with live-action and performance-capture footage and presented in Disney Digital 3-D.

There is no word on whether the story will remain true or altered for the screen. Filming begins in November.
