I personally enjoy The Reader, but have not run into a single person that agrees with me. Still don't blind buy it?? I really didn't get a chance to see it in theatres (my grandfather passed, during that time), I netflixed it and it's apparently a really long wait. So it's either wait for pay-per-view or blind buy. They closed the blockbuster closest to me, so I'd have to go to the one down town to rent it. Will I buy it on Blu-Ray, probably not. Don't care about the picture quality too much when I could probably pick up the original DVD, a bottle of 7-Up and Doritos for like $8 total. I hated "The Spirit", but I feel that the film would look beautiful on Blu-Ray...not worth a purchase, but I was able to get some minor "so bad it's good" moments from the film, so maybe I and a few like-minded friends might enjoy it as a rental.
