There is Even More ‘Sex and the City’ on DVD and Blu-ray

You mean it wasn't long enough already?

Warner Home Video has just announced the DVD and Blu-ray editions for Sex and the City: The Movie and believe it or not they have an extra six minutes to show you. That’s right, as if the film wasn’t long enough already you now get even MORE!!!! Wheeeee!

There will be a single disc edition with the theatrical version which runs 145 minutes and then a 2-Disc Special Edition DVD and Blu-ray disc that will run 151 minutes with “content that fans demand”.

Features currently known include:

  • Extended Cut - Six additional minutes
  • Fabulous Fashion of Sex and the City - Costume designer Patricia Fields talks about the inspiration behind the fashion in the movie
  • Intimate conversations with Sarah Jessica Parker, director Michael Patrick King and singer Fergie
  • Digital copy on the Extended Edition
  • 2 exclusive interactive features on the Blu-ray edition
  • And more…

The DVD and Blu-ray are set for release on September 23. The theatrical version is rated R and the extended cut will be listed as Unrated.
