Theatrical ‘Max Payne’ Trailer… Whatcha Think?

As wary as I am, I am still interested...

I have had good things and bad things to say about the look of Max Payne. From a style perspective it looks pretty cool, speaking as someone that has never played the game or even seen it played. People have answered some of my questions in past comments as to the existence of the Angel of Death-looking creature shown in the trailers, which looked quite cool and added a bit of intrigue (you get an even better look and explanation of it in this trailer). However, the footage I was shown at Comic Con really didn’t look like anything more than a bunch of guns being shot.

The trailer features what I believe to be a new Marilyn Manson track, lots of explosions and thankfully very little of Mila Kunis. I say thankfully because I am hoping she will be the one thing that may be this flick’s turning point. Hopefully Fox will keep her part in it a secret and not release a large number of clips or anything more than is absolutely necessary.

Check out the final trailer below, lemme know what yah think and look for Max Payne on October 17.

You can also watch the trailer in QuickTime HD right here.

I know Ive made my opinion about this movie clear on several occasions, and this trailer totally reaffirms my stance…looks completely and utterly badass!

Oh, and I actually just replayed it a couple weeks ago, the original game, and Mila Kunis looks a LOT like the Mona Sax from the game. Also, the part from the trailer with Mark Wahlberg on the helicopter pad is straight from the game…pretty awesome.

Yeah, and it isn’t a new track I took a peek and I actually own it, it’s on the Eat Me, Drink Me album. You can get it here at iTunes.
