'The Final Destination' Trailer Races Online

Time to cheat death once again...

Warner Bros. has released the trailer for The Final Destination the fourth film in the Final Destination franchise which will be released in theaters in 3-D on August 28. You can see all the myriad of ways 3-D will be utilized in the film in an attempt to up the experience for audiences.

Final Destination 2 helmer has returned for the sequel, which considering the finality of the new title leads me to believe it may be the last in the franchise, and brings along a host of relative unknowns who must figure out how to cheat death once again.

You can check out the trailer below or in higher quality at MySpace.

meh doesnt look that good …i hate 3-d films, it takes away from the suspense of movies. I dont want to have to wear glasses knowing that only 4 things are going to pop in my face. Sticking to 2-d is better for me doesnt hurt my eyes and doesnt have blue and red outlines of the entire picture.

@Randy: Grampa, 3D films aren't like that anymore – they use new techniques that have advanced a lot since the days of "Comin' At Ya!" and Jaws 3D. By the way: they don't let you smoke in the movie theater anymore either.

@atlroller: Ahhh, I actually quite liked Final Destination 2. I thought the opening crash scene in that film was great.

@Brad Brevet:

Completely agree. The 2nd one was much more enjoyable. The third wasn't terrible, but the deaths were very laughable.

Yawn…….

You know that a few people actually did die in Lowe's Motor Speedway when a wheel from one car cleared the fence and landed amongst the spectators. Hmm, well, at least ONE of the death scenarios in this movie will be art imitating reality instead of art imitating… fantasy? stupidity?

There is no way this will be better than Final Destination 3. They should've went for a cruise ship accident or something better and not so much like the car accident from 2. if James Wong would've returned, than that's probably what he would've did. Instead this will probably be an average sequel instead of a really good one like 3 (Mary Elizabeth Winstead is the best!)
