UPDATE: Hey all, we have our testers, but take a peek at the article and se if you will be interested down the line because I will be asking again I am sure. Those of you that already emailed me will be receiving an email very soon with more information.

I am sure many of you are familiar with IMDb's Top 250 films list based on user ratings on a 1-10 scale. Well, that may tell the world what the top films on IMDb are based on an arbitrary formula in which voters' opinions are limited to a 10 star rating, but does it reflect viewing habits all that well? History? Emotions? I don't think so.

So, I have been working behind-the-scenes on an exclusive formula to take a variety of variables into account, which will not only help create an accurate representation of what RopeofSilicon users believe are the best films, but help you determine what your favorite films are. Yes, I am going to tell you what your favorite films are like some genie in a bottle! Well… sort of…

See, I need to test this thing out. Work out the kinks and see if it works as planned. So, I am calling on you the users!

I need a handful of people to begin ranking your favorite films on the site and testing out the functionality to let me know how accurate it seems.

All you need is a RopeofSilicon username and to have registered with an accurate birthdate. No specific age requirements outside of being 17 years or older.

All you will be asked to do is select movies from a drop down list and begin ranking them. It's quite simple and hopefully a lot of fun to watch your list be created.
