Teaser Trailer for Michael Moore's Bailout Documentary

You ready to give some more?

Even though it doesn't have an official title, the upcoming Untitled Michael Moore Bailout Documentary has a teaser trailer, which debuted in theaters this weekend.

The film is already set to hit theaters on October 2 and will explore the root causes of the global economic meltdown and take a comical look at the corporate and political shenanigans that culminated in what Moore has described as "the biggest robbery in the history of this country" – the massive transfer of U.S. taxpayer money to private financial institutions.

Check out the trailer directly below.

Ughh I know he's trying to be funny and everything but I don't get this whole "attacking the CEO's thing". Can someone explain to me when it became such a bad thing to want to become a CEO? Seriously? Why is it wrong to study your a## off, go to a good college, then go to a good grad school, then work 80 hours a week for the next 20 years just so you might have the chance to become the CEO of a company some day? I'm getting so sick of people vilifying the heads of these big companies for obtaining a position all of us would kill for. It's getting really old and tired. I know I'm going to wind up seeing this movie but so far I'm not amused.

@DarkKnightFAN12: Less hyperbole next time!!

@Bob Saget: I don't think anyone is saying it's wrong to become a CEO, but there are a few CEO's that have made some really, really bad decisions, and these people are usually targeted in Moore's documentaries.

This trailer gave me absolutely nothing to go on, so I guess I'll have to wait until I see more. I haven't even seen Sicko yet.

Well, Michael Moore's documentaries have quite an agenda… like all documentaries! But his, at least, are great fun to watch. I'm rather interested.

For the record, I think "Bowling for Columbine" was his best. But that's because I'm far more interested in society than in politics.

@Garrett: The trailer gave away the first 50-some minutes: Moore in front of a gray backdrop ranting away with opinion disguised as fact. I'll bet the third act involves a surprise trip to his home town of Flint, Michigan.

@JM: Quality docs have a thesis, not an agenda.

ceos are not bad.. just that some bad people are ceos.. and those are the ones that get to where they are by stepping all over the little guy and engaging in horrible business practices. they don't care who or what gets hurt as long as they are making at least an 8 digit income.

Moore has a good heart, but I wonder if he'll be attacking the REAL cause of this problem: The private Federal Reserve Bank (which is as federal as Federal Express). Yeah, many of these CEOs are scumbags. But the Fed is at the heart of this crisis, and the mainstream media never talks about that. BTW – But BOTH Obama and Bush supported the "Bailout" (Or systematic raping of our taxpayers). Meet the new boss – same as the old boss. Hopefully, Moore criticizes Obama as much as he did Bush. After all, they're both controlled by the same big bankers…

Did anyone else notice AFTER the bank bailouts that foreclosure rates increased 31%, and at the same time short sale denials increased as well? Probably not. Basicly we all paid off millinos of home loans with our taxes, to help the banks. Your mortgage is Paid in full ! Oh yes it is!
The banks have no incentive to reduce your monthly nut, it's pure profit to them now, and Citi told congress they "miss placed 31 billion dollars and have NO documentation as to where it went. Jeez,…that just slid right by. No fines, no jail time, no pay back. Hows about you and me try that !
I just a state tax lein notice from the state of California for 68.00 from 1988 that is now 3,750 with interest and penalties, and now they have new thing where stauate of limitation no longer apply to back taxes of any amount,…it's for life, and transferable to your kids ! You now must pay beyond the grave.

Obama caved in to the real powers that be. He's a puppet, nothing more. Iran and North Korea must now be escalated to appear as threats to the USA to distract us from reality. BTW the Iranian Navy has like 75 ships, and the biggest one is 140 feet and not even capable of crossing the ocean. The hoards of Iranian and korean troops landing in New Jersey will never happen. Wake the hell up people.! Dr. Dredmon has spoken.
