An interesting argument was brought forward (and ignored) at the Cannes Film Festival by director Spike Lee as the Times Online brings us news that in a press conference Lee brought up the fact that black soldiers were conspicuous by their absence from Clint Eastwood's Flags of Our Fathers and Letters from Iwo Jima.

Angelina Jolie in Clint Eastwood's The Exchange

UPDATE: It appears the film may still keep the awful title Changeling here in the U.S. according to Anne Thompson despite the Cannes press notes calling the film 'L'Echange' f.k.a 'Changeling'.

I wonder what most of you think of John Malkovich as of late. Personally he was one of my favorite actors until he slowly withered into the realm of terrible with performances I absolutely loathed in such films as Johnny English, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Eragon.
