Wow. Back in 2003 Freddy vs. Jason opened to a huge $82.6, but this new version finished an unexpected second for the franchise. It's also the 5th biggest February opening in history. All in all, Warner Bros. has got to be ecstatic.

#1 movie predicted correctly: 2 Weeks in a Row

1. Friday the 13th
It should do well. I think 2003's Texas Chainsaw Massacre is a pretty good indicator, as it cleared $28m. So this one will do about the same, adjusted for inflation and such.
Estimate: $31.1 million

On Friday night He's Just Not That Into You made $10m. On Saturday it made $11m. The projections only have it making $5m today, I'm a little skeptical there. I still think $29m is doable, but let's break it down for all the fans out there.

#1 movie predicted correctly: 1 Week in a Row

1. He's Just Not That Into You
There is a groundswell building for this product. It's date night, it's women, it's against very little demographic competition. I see it dominating.
Estimate: $33.3 million
