Suvari and Foster Solve 'The Mysteries of Pittsburgh'

Duo join Miller and Sarsgaard

Oddly enough this isn't a film about the referees that screwed the Seattle Seahawks out of a Super Bowl win. I guess it is because that isn't exactly a mystery. Instead this is casting news letting us know that Mena Suvari and Jon Foster have been cast in Rawson Turber's The Mysteries of Pittsburgh based on Pulitzer Prize winner Michael Chabon's debut novel.

Suvari and Foster join Sienna Miller and Peter Sarsgaard in the pic which will begin filming in Pennsylvania after Labor Day.

The story chronicles the last summer of Art Bechstein's (Foster) youth. Art meets the witty and beautiful Arthur Lecomte, who then introduces Art to the equally stunning Jane (Miller), her boyfriend, the legendary Cleveland (Sarsgaard), and worldly, exotic, and slightly eccentric Phlox (Suvari). In the course of one summer, this band of colorful friends guides and thwarts Art in surprising ways as he confronts himself, his family, his sexuality, and the heartache of growing up.
