'Superhero' Cast Fills Out
A couple of notables are in here... I think...
Since Epic Movie bombed and the Scary Movie flicks only seem to get worse it only makes sense that Dimension would move forward with yet another spoof comedy as Superhero finally has its cast.
Joining the superhero comedy are Drake Bell, Sara Paxton, Christopher McDonald, Leslie Nielsen, Kevin Hart, Marion Ross, Ryan Hansen, Jeffrey Tambor and Brent Spiner. Yeah, a list of names you are scrunching your nose at only because you realize you know half of them and that half are only doing this movie because they pretty much have to if they want work. It is just a shame that Tambor has to go from something as classic as "Arrested Development" to doing a half-assed Hollywood spoof movie. The best part of this whole bit of news is that one of these actors was actually in an episode of "The Lone Ranger" back in 1954. Can you guess which one?
The pic was written and will be directed by Scary Movie 3 and 4 co-writer Craig Mazin and is set for a March 28, 2008 release.
