So Here's the Mike Myers of Zombie's 'Halloween 2'
You know, the movie he said he'd never make...
If, like me, you thought Rob Zombie's remake/re-imagining of Halloween was a sloppy mess of blood, screaming, nudity and trailer trash then you have very little interest in his upcoming sequel which is currently working with the title H2 although Zombie has alluded to the fact he would like something a little more substantial such as H2: The Devil Walks Among Us, which was included in one of his blog posts until quickly deleted.
Although Zombie is on record saying he would never want to remake a movie or do a sequel to a movie he is now hard at work on the sequel to his very own remake. Back in August of 2007, as a matter of fact, when asked if he would do a sequel to his Halloween Zombie told Moviefreak.com point blank, "No. I did what I wanted to do. I came in and made a movie, [made] what I thought was a self-contained film, and now I am walking away." I guess when he walks away he walks in circles because on August 28 we get a new Halloween with Rob at the helm and in advance we get our first look at Michael Myers via Zombie's MySpace Gallery.
