I totally agree man! I mean, as much as I think a JLA movie would be so devastatingly cool, I just can't support it because I know it would suck and it would completely and utterly ruin it for me.
And while I did enjoy New Frontier, I didn't think it was the end all be all of how JLA movies should be made. Otherwise, why bother making another one if this one was the best?
And I get what you're saying to a point. I mean yeah, my mom would ask me who that "gay looking Robin Hood wannabe" is, and admittedly, there was a time when I had to ask someone who Green Arrow was too. But like you said, the target audience is probably people who already know their stories... but then WB risks losing, or rather, not gaining, any newcomers if they alienate them with a complex story line.
Uh oh, dilemma. Do we make a heavy, intriguing story where only fans will follow but risk not gaining many new fans? Or do we make a light, "prequel" type story where anyone can follow but risk losing the die-hard fans? This is when they decide to go with something in between and wind up with complete crap that both the newcomers and die-hards hate. Bye bye trilogy....

And finally... c'mon Hollywood, leave the Justice League alone! Look what you have coming out to rake in the money! I mean you have Dark Knight, Iron Man, The Hulk (well... I reserve judgement on this, no thanks to Ang Lee!), X Men Origins: Wolverine, and finally (my favorite), Watchmen, to name a few. Why don't you wait and see how those turn out before you make any rash decisions to ruin the lives of many a JLA fan. Please...?

PS. I'd reeeaally love it if nobody tore me apart because this is my first post!!! :D (can you totally tell that I'm an insecure, nerdy, teen girl who desperately seeks approval via the internet? Yeah, me too.... hahaha)
