Second 'Body of Lies' Trailer Online

People are already saying this one is better than the first...

Yahoo has debuted the brand new trailer for Ridley Scott's Body of Lies starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Russell Crowe and Carice van Houten set to hit theaters on October 10. The film is based on Washington Post columnist David Ignatius' 2007 novel about a CIA operative, Roger Ferris (Leonardo DiCaprio), who uncovers a lead on a major terrorist leader suspected to be operating out of Jordan. When Ferris devises a plan to infiltrate his network, he must first win the backing of cunning CIA veteran Ed Hoffman (Russell Crowe) and the collegial, but perhaps suspect, head of Jordanian intelligence. Although ostensibly his allies, Ferris questions how far he can really trust these men without putting his entire operation – and his life – on the line.

Watcha think, is it better than the first one, which is featured just below the new one. You can also watch the new trailer in QuickTime HD right here.

… and here is the first trailer for your comparison…

Ah! Two of my favorite actors and one of my favorite director. This is gonna be good. DiCaprio has given steller performences ever since he walked away from his teen idol image made from Titanic and Russel Crowe is a fantastic actor as well. I think this gonna be an amazing film if they don't focus on just the action but also focus on the story and the topic. If so we can have a film just as intelleligent as Syriana.

Yup this is a fantastic trio, and the flick looks cool.

Btw, I highly recommend people to see Scott's Kingdom of Heaven extended cut. It's a vast improvement from the theatrical version.

I usually always finish a film when I start it, but Kingdom of Heaven I just couldn't. Maybe it was because Orlando Bloom. But I have heard from several people that the Extended Cut is much better. Maybe I should check it out. It is after all Ridley.

The extended cut is FANTASTIC and you will be shocked at what was cut out. The theatrical version was just okay. But the extended cut is just excellent.

On another note, this new trailer for Body of Lies is much much better than the original.
