Warner Bros. can pretty much show us an endless stream of people yelling and screaming in the upcoming remake of Friday the 13th (2/13/09), but this is a flick that can only be judged on the completed product. I could tell you that in this clip the guy dies really well and the girl sure can scream, but it is completely out of context and therefore we have no idea if it is actually a scary scene.

Fans of the series will be interested to hear the mild remix of the popular theme song as well as get excited seeing Jason in a bit of action, but until Feb. 13 rolls around we are all sort of in the dark on this one.

I am personally hoping they nailed it because it would be a lot of fun to have a new horror franchise to follow ever since the f'd up that sequel/prequel to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, which is a remake I actually enjoyed quite a bit. However, that follow-up film was downright loathsome.
