Cursed *should* have derailed Williamson's career. That movie was so bad in so many ways, and it could have been SO good. Nothing makes me more angry than screwing up a werewolf movie. If a werewolf gets *near* you, you're dead. It doesn't throw people around like they did in Cursed. It slashes you once with it's claws and your whole head comes off. Or, as happened in American Werewolf in London, it bites your whole head off. That's one thing that pissed me off about Dog Soldiers. Werewolves don't frigging *box*! They don't fist fight, they grab you and tear you limb from limb without even trying. They completely eviscerate you in a matter of seconds.

An American Werewolf in London was the last great werewolf movie, yes including Ginger Snaps. It would be really fun to see the same care in make-up as American Werewolf and yet this time with (some well used) digital effects so we get a truly dynamic, moving, jumping, wicked fast werewolf. I think that The Wolf Man with Del Toro is going to be that movie (Rick Baker seems to think so).

A new Scream would be ok, if they reboot. I can't see Courtney Cox doing another, but then I can see myself missing the old gang too. Frankly, I wouldn't mind if they kept Cox and Arquette and dumped Neve Campbell. A reboot with just those two might be fun, but it would have to start with some new premise other than the tired one with Sidney and her slutty mom. Maybe a brand new set of films with Arquette as a detective in a big city and Cox with her own tv show and he gets dragged into a new series of murders. I wouldn't mind though if they completely started over, with no characters from the first three films, as long as they did it right. Just a total reboot, not a remake, with brand new characters. Still, I'd miss Dewey and Gale Weathers (and Randy). Here's hoping that Craven and Williamson can pull a rabbit out of the hat.

I still think the first Scream is one of the best horror/thrillers...still keeps me out a bit...the sequels werent nearly as good, but still good bloody fun.

I highly doubt Wes Craven will be back...from an interview Im assuming right after the god awful Cursed came out...

“I think everything has already been told within the first three movies and I don’t want to make the one more that would be the wrong one. And second because Dimension won’t really be interested in contacting me right now just after the troubles we had on Cursed.”

I love the first "Scream" even though my cousin ruined the ending for me before I saw it. He didn't tell me who the killer was, but that there were 2 killers. It ruined everything, but I still like it. And sorry if I just ruined it for somebody else who hasn't seen it, but you should have already seen this movie.

I also liked the second one. The third one was dumb. I think a sequel could work. I hope they don't do a remake because it is way too early for that. I would hope that some of the original cast members would return. It wouldn't really feel like a "Scream" movie if it was all new people.
