Rosemarie DeWitt Moves from 'Rachel' to 'Men' With Chris Cooper
Solid actress surrounding by a solid list of leading men

Rosemarie DeWitt's performance in last year's Rachel Getting Married was the superior female performance in the film and unfortunately she didn't get the award recognition as it all leaned toward Anne Hathaway as she was the bigger name. That's the way Hollywood works and as unfortunate as it is, you just have to make sure not to forget when it happens.
DeWitt, however, won't be stopping at Rachel as she has just lined up a role in The Company Men alongside a host of big names including Ben Affleck, Tommy Lee Jones, Kevin Costner and, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Chris Cooper is in negotiations to join as well.
The film is described as a drama about the impact that a corporate downsizing has on both its casualties and survivors. Affleck plays a corporate hotshot whose Porsche and six-figure salary vanish after he gets laid off. Costner plays his brother-in-law, a salt-of-the-earth drywall installer who gives him a construction job. Jones plays a senior partner in the firm, a principled man who struggles with the greedy actions of his partners. DeWitt will play Affleck's wife. Cooper is a blue-collar worker losing his job.
John Wells who recently directed one of the final episodes of "ER" wrote and will direct the indie drama, which is due to begin shooting this month in Boston.
