‘Righteous Kill’ Swears Its Way into Your Heart

Hey, what's the line on Pacino being the killer?

Al Pacino and Jon Avnet are setting out to go two-for-two this year and Righteous Kill looks like it will be able to pull it out. After 88 Minutes I am surprised Overture Films has the balls to release the Robert De Niro and Pacino starrer especially considering neither actor are an actual draw any longer and this new red band trailer does nothing more than swear its way to an R-rating. My only question is who is the killer? Pacino or De Niro? I can already see this film ending with a scene with one of them with a gun to Carla Gugino’s head yelling, “They give us the badge and the gun and then what? They expect us not to use them? Bad guys are killing good people every day, we are just killing the bad ones before they get to the good ones!”

Watch the red band trailer and you tell me what you think. Righteous Kill hits theaters on Septemer 12.

Totally agree, this film looks like pure crap! from the first trailer it was very obvious either DeNiro or Pacino is the bad guy. My money is on Pacino, DeNiro has been a bad guys a few too many tmes as of late, and their last screen time together he was the bad guy! They could be in on it together too! just a thought. The real twist would be if both of them were the killer . aha this film is a joke. These actors like you said dont draw ppl to the theaters ne more. Christian Bale is like the new guy everybody looks for he was in like 5 movies last year (complete exageration)

What a bunch of snobby, judgmental know-it-alls. The movie industry didn’t begin with you and it won’t end without you. To so easily write off two of the greatest actors of all time is such a tell. You guys don’t have a clue. Christian Bale would be mortified to hear you say this about Mr. DeNiro and Mr. Pacino. You guys are like the ’suits’ in creative arts businesses. You know the business but know nothing of the creative process, the respect true artists have for one another, when one thing is a hit you try to cookie cutter it over and over–it’s been going on so long and so contradictory to the process. These guys are legends in their own time. You are legends in your own minds. Give it up–the quantity of quotes after a different article I read–were over 6000 and the majority of them say they have been waiting for this for years. Sometimes it’s just a treat to watch two greats chew the scenery for a couple of hours. Sometimes it’s all in good fun. I bet you guys are loads of laughs to be around–she said sarcastically. Ciao y’all we are going in a group and turning it into a party.

Frankly I don’t care that De Niro and Pacino has had a strings of flops or if this movie looks generic. It’s De Niro. And Pacino. That’s enough for me. I’ll wait and see the film first and then see if it i should complain about it. I like to see a film before I call it crap. Until then I am looking forward to se De Niro and Pacino in a film together.

Totally agree, gotta see a flick with Di Nero and Pacino (true legends). Could be predictable, and they looks a bit old for the role. Other presumptions can wait!

Oh, 88 Minutes really sucked!
