What the fuck? i watched the 3rd one last night and its so boring. I mean come on, no one is in real danger and the only 'Threat' isnt even a threat. All it does is show that a mouse set up harrys parents. Second ones ok, but.. i dunno. First one was the only one that actually felt similar to the books, pitty they are so young and crap at acting. Goblet and order of the phoenix are probably the best two.

Oh man, I can't I agree with that line-up at all. My 5 would most likely be:

#1: Prizoner of Azkaban
#2: Chamber of Secrets
#3: Order of the Phoenix
#4: Sorcerer's Stone
#5: Goblet of Fire

I absolutely hated Goblet of Fire. As a cohesive movie it kept jumping from scene to scene and I couldn't make sense out of a whole lot. The whole movie also felt like it was on constant fast-forward, as the acting was really rushed and a lot of times the actors were talking too fast to be normal. Unfortunately I read the book before seeing the movie, and because of that I was trying to fill in gaps. I tried very hard to forget about the book while watching the movie, but it was always, "They left that part out! It was really important too! What the heck was the director thinking?!" I also find that I'm liking Michael Gambon less and less as Dumbledore as each movie comes out. Dumbledore as a character is more subtle and quite intelligence than yelling everywhere and being overly energetic. I've seen him in other movies and in Prisoner of Azkaban my opinion of him was very high, but that confidence is disappearing. I also think that the acting of the 'Golden Three' was really ridiculous and over-done, and they had the emotional range of rocks. Order of the Phoenix got my hopes back up a bit, but I'm very anxious to see how Half-Blood Prince will turn out as it's one of my top 3 favorite HP books.

i would agree to the overall, but i would bump prisoner of azkaban to #1, then the rest follows, goblet, phoenix, scorceror's ston & lastly chamber of secrets.

cuaron's fresh take to the vision indeed pushed out columbus' frame of mind in the series, the overall 'mature' themes indeed made this film above of all five. like you said, the rest followed

I agree with this ranking exactly, except for the fact that I thought Chamber of Secrets was better than the first one. As for the fifth movie, I did not care for it at all, except for the special affects. It left way to many things out from the book and seemed of from the book as well. I liked the Goblet of Fire the most, I mean at least it had some Quiditch. What has happened to Quidditch???

Goblet Of Fire did keep me satisfied. Yet, if you look back at the film you're not nearly getting half of the plot it was meant to portray.
