Quinto Closing Spock Deal for 'Star Trek'

Never seen Heroes and know nothing about this guy

People seem pretty excited about the fact that "Heroes" star Zachary Quinto is in final negotiations to play Spock in J.J. Abrams' upcoming Star Trek reboot that will take the heroes of the starship Enterprise back to their early days.

E! Online brings the news saying that Quinto's deal to be in the film is with "the business affairs team at Paramount. Business affairs is generally considered the last stop on the deal-negotiation train. The deal only awaits sign-off from outside counsel. Squee."

I have no idea what "Squee" means, but I am sure it is an E! gossipper giving their "O-face" in regards to something they find interesting. Next up is an introduction to me, which should warrant a double-squee if nothing else.

For those not in the know (me included), Quinto plays Skylar on NBC's "Heroes" and he also played Adam Kaufman during the third season of "24".

I expect plenty more on the Star Trek casting to be revealed at Comic Con.
