I wonder if the list will end up as long as last year's

You can tell the awards season is upon us as the studios have begun updating their For Your Consideration websites and we even have our first couple of scripts from the new season courtesy of Universal Pictures.

As always, I keep an updated list of studio For Your Consideration sites in "The Contenders" section of the site, but as I did last year, I will be keeping an updated list of scripts from said contenders as the season wears on. Today we begin with the scripts for Public Enemies and Funny People.

Below you will get links to the award sites, links to each film here on RopeofSilicon and where it applies a link to each of the scripts currently available.

Speaking of "Public Enemies" I saw "Dillinger" from 1973 on TV last night. If you get Thistv network, thay have a few showing of it this week. Interesting, they took more liberties then "Enemies", an can tell just from the TV version it was more violent, but Warren Oates plays Dillinger well enough, and does look more like him then Depp. But Michelle Phillips (Billie) and Ben Johnson (Purvis) are terrible.

Will these appear weekly, daily, bi-weekly, tri-weekly, monthly, bi-monthly, tri-monthly, or quarterly?

Funny People deserves some consideration. Public Enemies, not so much.
