Piven Joins Berg's 'Kingdom'

Large cast gets one more

Peter Berg is drawing in some big names for his next flick The Kingdom. Already starring Jamie Foxx, Chris Cooper, Jennifer Garner and Jason Bateman the film has now cast Jeremy Piven.

The film follows a team of American counterterrorism agents who go to a hostile Middle Eastern country after a bombing attack against Americans there. Piven will play a conniving American diplomat in Saudi Arabia who assists an FBI team sent to the Middle East to capture terrorists responsible for an attack on Americans working in Riyadh.

Matthew Carnahan penned the script and the film is already planned for an April 20, 2007 release.
