A site I had yet to visit, TwitchFilm.com, has just scored a couple of looks at Terry Gilliam's Tideland featuring the director and his young female lead, 10-year-old Jodelle Ferland. The flick also stars Jeff Bridges and Jennifer Tilly.
Ferland stars as Jeliza-Rose, a young girl who has just lost her mother to a heroine overdose and she is taken from the big city to a rural farmhouse by her father. Jeliza begins to try to cope with what has just happened only to have it result in increasingly odd behavior.
