Pete Hammond Gets Fired from Maxim

Yes, this is news, and it is good news

Pete Hammond

I have to apologize for what I am about to write up because taking joy in the firing of another individual is a terrible thing to do and I don’t particularly feel good about it, but according to Radar Online Maxim magazine’s quote whore, douche critic Pete Hammond has been fired.

It seems Radar also wasn’t a huge fan of Hammond saying, “Hammond, as has been noted elsewhere, was pretty much the definition of a ‘tool’ in his capacity at Maxim, where he continually gave universally decried flicks glowing reviews in order to get his name splashed across newspaper ads.”

Radar also points out the next needless critics that needs to get the shaft saying, “At least studios with crappy product to push still have noted Rolling Stone blurb whore Peter Travers to rely on.” Ain’t that the truth?

If you have no idea what I am talking about when it comes to Hammond and his idiocy just go here for a full recap from 2006 and here is the new one.
