Just yesterday it was announced that production on Wolfgang Petersen's latest adaptation of the 1972 Oscar-winning classic The Poseidon Adventure had begun, and now today we get footage from ET Online of the launch party as ET's Jann Carl is on the set and interviewing everyone.

The story centers around a luxury cruise ship which is hit by a rogue wave in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean. A small group of survivors find themselves unlikely allies in a battle for their lives as the unstable vessel rapidly floods with water. They face unimaginable odds and life-altering decisions in their desperate fight to the surface.

The stars of the film are Kurt Russell, Emmy Rossum, Richard Dreyfuss, Mike Vogel, Josh Lucas, Freddy Rodriguez, Jacinda Barrett, Jimmy Bennett, Kevin Dillon, Mía Maestro and Andre Braugher and virtually all of them weigh in with their thoughts on the film in the online clip.
