Panettiere and Long Go Animated in 'Alpha and Omega'

Voice cast announced for 'Boondocks' helmer

Hayden Panettiere

Anthony Bell is probably best known for directing four episodes of the animated show "The Boondocks", but when I say "best known" that is really pushing it. Others may, and I stress may, know him from his work on "Rugrats", but I am assuming the majority of us (myself included) have no idea who he is. Well, who he is, is the director of a new animated film called Alpha and Omega and he has set Justin Long and Hayden Panettiere as his lead voices.

The film is about two kidnapped wolves trying to get back their pack and Long and Panettiere will voice the two wolves. Also cast are the voices of Christina Ricci, Danny Glover, Dennis Hopper and Larry Miller. Lionsgate is set to distribute in a joint venture with Crest Animation Productions for a multi-picture deal.

Production is underway in Los Angeles and the film is expected to debut some time in 2010.
