If there has ever been a case of an actor playing against type it was Cruise in Magnolia (although not as much) and in Collateral. The focus needs to be on the acting, period. Either way, Tom should have been nominated for Collateral. Thanks for the shout out to him. Also, I am so pumped to see if the Academy will give The Dark Knight its due! Ledger for Best Supporting!
