'Notorious' Teaser Trailer Hip Hops Online

The music alone sells this flick...

Fox Searchlight has debuted the teaser trailer for the upcoming Notorious B.I.G. biopic aptly title Notorious starring Jamal Woolard as rapper Christopher Wallace a.k.a. The Notorious B.I.G. and I don't know if it is just hearing Biggie's music again that has me excited or the trailer itself, but I am definitely interested in checking it out. In the film Anthony Mackie plays Tupac and Derek Luke plays Puff Daddy/P Diddy (both are pictured in screen caps below).

Notorious hits theaters on January 16.

Well, I'm more of a Tupac fan, but looks interesting. The release date worries me, don't all the bad movies come out in January and February?

Yeah, but this one was announced for a January '09 release before it even went into production. This doesn't mean the rule doesn't apply, but for some reason Fox Searchlight felt it was a good date, even though I think mid-February would have been better taking advantage of Grammy promotion during that time.
