I was raised on the books, and the very disappointing BBC series. it is a wonderful series that deserves to be brought to screen. The first two were both blockbuster movies, and the third one will be the same. While i haven't agreed with some of the more "artistic" changes that have been made, especially with the second one, they have done well with staying to the core of the stories so far. So long as they do so, fans like me, will continue to watch everything they produce, and i think you underestimate the amount of people who are fans of the writings of C.S. Lewis.
