From what I understand today should be a day where a batch of new trailers hit the Internet after they first premiere at the MTV Video Music Awards with a new trailer for Twilight: New Moon and the trailer for Michael Jackson's concert film This is It playing at tonight's show. However, this morning brings us a new trailer for Robert Zemeckis's latest CGI-mocap/3-D affair A Christmas Carol and the footage in this one seems to duplicate a lot of what I saw at Comic Con this year.
A Christmas Carol hits theaters on November 6. You can watch the trailer directly below or in high definition at Yahoo.

Hmm. Hmm. Hmm?
Will this be good or not? It's very hard to tell. Zemeckis seems to be stuck in CGI-animation/3D mode. And "Beowulf" was ridiculous. But he's made great movies in the past ("Forrest Gump," "Contact," and I haven't seen "Back to the Future," but I hear that's great, too).
Yes, Dickens' classic 19th century tale is crying out for 3D animation. (That was sarcasm, folks.)
