New Poster and Pics from ‘Pride and Glory’

Norton and Farrell flick will finally be released...

Pride and Glory was thrown on the back burner for quite some time by New Line and now that Warner Bros. has it, it would appear they are just trying to get it off their plate and I have a feeling the main reason for the delay would be comparisons to last year’s shitty NYC cop drama We Own the Night. By releasing it on October 24 it is just over one year exactly since Columbia tortured us with We Own the Night and hopefully this flick from the director of Miracle can prove better.

Starring Ed Norton and Colin Farrell, Pride and Glory is described as a gritty and emotional portrait of the New York City Police Department. The film follows a multi-generational police family whose moral code is tested when one of two sons on the force investigates an incendiary case involving his older brother and brother-in-law. The case forces the family to choose between their loyalties to one another and their loyalties to the department.

All comparisons to We Own the Night are there, and some of the new pics even make me think of that awful finale from that flick. However, I love Norton and Farrell is certainly on top of his game lately so I am highly anticipating this flick.

I have posted the just released poster below and you can click here to check out all 31 pics in the gallery.

I agree with what you said about We Own the Night, I really hope this one is a lot better, normaly it seems Edward Norton chooses fairly good movies to star in tho, so im not to worried.
