New Looks at Knightley in ‘Atonement’

Has Oscar buzz started yet?

Focus Features will release Joe Wright’s Atonement this December and I am already starting to hear Oscar buzz as Wright reteams with his Pride and Prejudice star, the lovely Keira Knightley in the feature film adaptation of the best-selling 2002 novel.

The film centers on writer Briony Tallis who, as a 13-year-old, irrevocably changes the course of several lives when she accuses her older sister’s (Knightley) lover (James McAvoy) of a crime he did not commit.

Already rated R for disturbing war images, language and some sexuality the film will release on December 7 in limited theaters and Live Journal site, Keira_Daily has scored 26 hi-res looks at the film. Just click here or on the pic above or either of the pics below to check them out.
