Here's the real stuff...

We had to pull the link to that crappy international trailer for Frost/Nixon starring Frank Langella as Richard Nixon and Michael Sheen as David Frost (Michael Sheen), but today the official domestic trailer has appeared and Universal also sent over some new pics from the film that is already gaining Oscar buzz.

Ron Howard directs Langella as Richard Nixon as the film tells the story of the battle between Nixon and television personality David Frost (Michael Sheen) as the two sat down in 1977 for Nixon’s tell-all. You can watch the trailer just below (or in high definition at Yahoo) and click on any one of the thumbnails below or right here to check out the pictures.

Personally, this trailer gives me the chills and the final moment makes it definite must watch.

Frost/Nixon hits theaters on December 5 and also stars Kevin Bacon, Oliver Platt, Sam Rockwell, Toby Jones and Matthew Macfadyen.

Just as I did last time, below is a snippet of the first part of the interview between Frost and Nixon and if you jump forward you will see the picture above damn near mirrors the scene exactly.

Frost/Nixon just jumped to the top of my OscarWatch list. I can’t wait for the first teaser poster.
