New ‘Dark Knight’ Trailer is Now Online

Plus some words on Two Face

Everyone that reads this site already knows I am avoiding trailers like the plague, but I am relying on your excitement to keep me jazzed for the upcoming summer blockbusters. So, now that the newest trailer for The Dark Knight is available RIGHT HERE I am counting on you to tell me how good it is.

Don’t spoil me now, but I want to hear how great/lame you think it is!

Also, if you want some details on Aaron Eckhart’s role as Two-Face in the film, the Los Angeles Times brings us the following. Note, I understand it is slightly spoilerish. I copied it but I did NOT read it, so read on at your own peril:

I can tell you that, basically, when you look at Two-Face, you should get sick to your stomach. Being the guy under all that, well, that was a lot of fun for me. It’s like you would feel if you met someone whose face had pretty much been ripped off or burned off with acid. I can’t talk about it beyond that because I don’t want to give away too much of the plans by Chris.”

Looks like a hit!

Hopefully you guys at RopeofSilicon.com are wrong because I predict The Dark Knight will take it all in the summer box office race as #1.

This movie looks absolutely unreal.
I wish I was more shocked about how absolutely phenomenal this movie looks, but I expect it from this new Batman series.
It will blow every other summer movie out of the water.
Well…except for Sex and the City of course.
They will be a close tie though for #1.

i looked at it on you tube and i think it is right at 1 : 59 it is like a split second shot….do you think they will reveal the new villian so far we have two face and the joker, i wonder if at the end there might be like the penguin or the riddler making a cameo apperance….would be pimp….

If you are just watching the trailer straight through it definitely appears that he is in the batsuit. But if you freeze it and go through the 1:59 mark slowly you can see that it is Batman’s arm slamming Joker’s head into something.

Brad I’m with you on this one, I’m gonna avoid watching Dark Knight trailers only, including this new one. They show most of the good parts from the movie in the trailer, and since I’m really looking forwad to this one, I want my excitement to remain fresh!

I wish this were true, but i’ve watched this latest trailer over 15 times and i do not see anything ‘batsuit’ on the joker when he says, ‘And here we…go!’. Brad, you are going to crap your pants when you see this movie. I wish i had that type of mentality to not spoil the best movie in years, but i’m a batman nut…so i can’t be like that. I guarantee to you that this will be the #1 summer movie. Oh, yeah…sex and the city has no #1 status when going up against TDK.

I am telling you, it isn’t easy. However, all the love you guys are showering on it along with everyone else just has me that much more amped up to see it. Such as how I would love to look at this article but I am afraid it will spoil something about the Dent/Two Face character. You guys may find it interesting though. ;)

Question for Brad, how do you avoid seeing the tv spots and trailers before films?

I also just noticed your avatar.funny.

Well, for press screenings they typically only show one trailer. Tonight I am seeing Speed Racer and I am VERY scared I will be seeing a Dark Knight trailer (not sure if I will close my eyes and plug my ears but we’ll see).

As for the TV, I watch sports and that’s about it. Typically this brings movie trailers but I am only half paying attention and if need be I change the channel. I honestly think this is the last time I am going to try this though… It is sort of an experiment and it is starting to become a pain.

Yeah, the avatar may need to change soon. I have a new one in mind since this one is a little suggestive, I just found it funny even though I can’t remember where I actually found it. :)

NEW PIC OF TWO-FACE

I don’t want to ruin this movie for folks, but this is going to be the best series of good and dark batman movies.

*WARNING*…this pic is not for the faint at heart. :-&

Think what you want, but i double check my posts!

First of all, you don’t need CGI in every aspect of every detail in every movie. It’s the arrogance of people these days that leads to this type of mentality. Alright, we don’t agree on the realness of the new two-face, but as batman fanatics i’ll just leave it up to everyone else to decide.

In my opinion, the make-up artists CAN do this type of masterpiece. If they used CGI, it would totally go against what chris nolan is trying do in bringing batman into a more real dimension.

If it’s fake to you, it’s fake to you and only you.

i dont mean its fake as in like i need cgi, i meant fake as in this doesnt look official, now if this is official it does look kinda cool and i am sure aaron eckhart can pull it off, but in the face of it its like zombie-dawn of the dead esqueness about it. But i certaintly am not a fan of cgi in every aspect at all, some times digital looks so shitty and fake that i am not convinced. but i think you misunderstood the comment i made. EITHER WAY, this is going to be the greatest movie evermade….

I think it is official, at least to the point that other sites are posting it as well. At least I think it is the same thing (I haven’t looked), but JoBlo has it here.
