UPDATED: New 'Dark Knight' Trailer Coming On Monday...

At least that is what it looks like

UPDATE: Sorry folks, looks like only the select few that played the game got to see the trailer, but it will be online right here on Sunday. However, you can check out a bootleg version here in the meantime.

The viral game for The Dark Knight continues as the page that brought us the new poster that features 12 portraits of past presidents has been updated. Clicking on each picture brings up a window that includes a city name and coordinates along with the following text:

Gather with 300 of your closest friends at this exact spot on April 28th.

You'll need to be in contact with a partner-in-crime who has online access to relay your instructions once you're there. These instructions will give you the TRAIL to follow, but be sure to look both ways when crossing the street; we wouldn't want you to make an unscheduled visit to the ER now, would we?

Put on a smile and plan to spend about an hour or so bonding with your fellow clowns.

Check back here often for updates or changes.

I am sure you noticed the two words that are capitalized? Yeah, that spells TRAILER when put together.

It is exactly midnight (PST) here in Seattle and the countdown reads 2 days, 17 hours and 28 minutes to go. This tells me that on Monday at approximately 5:30 PM PST a scavenger hunt will be on.

The cities that will be participating in the hunt are detailed below along with links to the WhySoSerious.com page as well as the Google Maps location where the hunt begins, and here is a link to the main page:

Thanks to Shawn for pointing it out!

I really don't participate in these clues/hunts etc, but it definitely is a great way to market the movie. Can't wait for the new trailer. I wish this was coming out in May, July seems so far away.

Yeah, I am trying to avoid seeing any footage before I see it in theaters. I have a feeling that is going to get harder and harder. However, I am VERY happy this is the last weekend of crap films for four months (knock on wood).
