UPDATE: New 'Terminator Salvation' Trailer Arrives

Get it in all its theatrical glory

UPDATE: Apologies, I was rushing to see a screening of Watchmen when I added this and now realize (as a couple of commenters have as well) the earlier posted trailer was not the new one. The trailer has been updated and this is now the latest trailer that was just released.

The brand new trailer for Terminator Salvation has arrived online in its theatrical version. I have included it directly below and you can check it out in HD at Yahoo.

The highly anticipated new installment of "The Terminator" film franchise is set in post-apocalyptic 2018. John Connor is the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future that Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright, a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet's operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind.

I think I saw this exact trailer before, but it still looks better than I had any right to hope for. I'm not willing to outright say McG actually pulled this thing off but the evidence is piling up in his favor with every new look.

Still pulling for an R rating, just so they can keep it as gritty as intended, but it looks like it will be decent regardless.

I'm legitimately looking forward to this.

Yeah this is the trailer from December. Hopefully Brad will fix it soon… the real new trailer (on Yahoo!) is pretty fantastic. I echo the comments above (and the song is perfect)…high hopes for it, but who knows.

the song in the new trailer is "The Day the Whole World Went Away" (Quite apropriate!) from Nine Inche Nails, one of the remixes´. Speaking of that, i don't know why don't all the trailers this days have NIN musics… Just look at this trailer and last year trailer from 300!!!! Nough said…

Okay, just watched the new trailer and good god! I'm officially ready to say McG pulled this damn thing off. I went from "Mildly excited" to "Holy Hell I need to see this thing now".

The Nine Inch Nails song is a perfect choice, adds a great tone to the trailer.

AWESOME!

And how's Watchmen Brad? Pray tell us. Is it a slavish adaptation of the book, or has it used some imagination of its own?
