New Hottie in 'Transformers 2', 'Road to Perdition' Sequels and Body Paint Pics of Kill Bill's Bride
'Watchmen' update, 'Button' pics and more
We begin with talk of The Lone Ranger, National Treasure 3 and Pirates of the Caribbean 4 as Jerry Bruckheimer spilled a small dose of beans on the flicks telling Coming Soon:
"We're doing another National Treasure so we're working on that, we're preparing Sorcerer's Apprentice right now – it's going to be shot in New York – we have another picture that's in post-production that we're finishing called Confessions of a Shopaholic with Isla Fischer and Hugh Dancy, so that comes out in February… We've sat with the writers and we're working up the story and plotlines right now. They're in the process of finishing The Lone Ranger so they're working on both of those simultaneously, same set of writers, Elliot and Rossio, who did all three Pirates and worked on National Treasure [2]."
As for a release date for Pirates of the Caribbean 4 he said, "I think they're pushing towards 2012." Get the rest here. And speaking of Bruckheimer productions, FirstShowing has a script review of Prince of Persia right here.
In wacked out Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen news we learn there is going to be another hot chick in it outside of just Megan Fox competing for fanboy jerkoff time. The twist to this chick is that she isn't exactly a chick as much as she is a robot pretending to be a chick. Here's the skinny:
The TFW TF2 Insider has confirmed that the character of Alice, as played by Isabel Lucas, in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, is a Pretender. For those not familiar with Transformers sublines from the 1980s, Pretenders are Transformers that are hidden inside a shell that acts as their disguise. In the case of Alice, the shell will be an attractive human woman while the inner robot is best described as a hybrid of the Frenzy robot design from the first movie. The Pretender Transformer will have an arm that transforms into an energy weapon, a long tongue, and a scanning tenticle.
Oh, and Transformers 2 has wrapped shooting. Now they have to put the cartoons that pee on the actors into the film.
