Lionsgate is either at a loss as to how to promote My Bloody Valentine 3-D (1/16) or they think they know what they are doing and don't know they are in trouble. The poster and trailer below debuted separately earlier this week, but I thought it was best to put them both in one place just to see who came to look.

The film is a remake of the 1981 horror classic film and will be presented in stunningly real, cutting edge gimmicky 3-D projection. Getting killed in the film by a cheap version of Darth Vader will be Jensen Ackles, Jaime King and Kerr Smith.

My only thought is that as long as the attempts to make this film 3-D don't get in the way of its ridiculous story it could be fun, but I'll only believe it when I see it and considering this is a Lionsgate release my guess is they are far too scared to show it to critics as they have proven to be true pant pissers when it comes to their crappy genre flicks. And boy they must be pissed at Warner Bros. for snatching up Friday, February 13 with their Friday the 13th remake, a film that steals all the glory and fun this film could have had with a one day before Valentine's Day release. Bet they chew hard on that one almost daily.
