Will the Rabbit's Foot make an appearance in MI4? Or will they have another shiteous wedding scene at the end?

They ought to recruit Brian dePalma again... both his an Tom's career is cloudy atm. And MI:1 was awesomeness.

@EnglishGavz: Just to add to Brad's response. It's 'domestic', not American, which includes both the United States and Canada. All amounts are reported in US dollars.

There's also addition costs associated with 'foreign' earnings. Addition distributors, v/o and subs, rating system costs, copyright, E&O insurance to name a few. The simply fact is for a movie produced in Hollywood a dollar earned in Texas goes a lot farther than a dollar earned in Hong Kong. Same rule applies to Bollywood/Japanese/British/Aussie/any other place movies that are exported to North America.

@EnglishGavz: Because it is an American production and deals for foreign territories are not always clear cut. Believe me, at this moment American money is second class money... perhaps even third. All I am doing is stating the facts, not sure why that offends you or how you took it to insinuate I thought money not earned in America was second class.

Why do Americans seem to treat money not earned in America like second class money, the film earned 400 million and the first thing you say is, well it only earn 134 million in America.

One of the reasons I enjoy the MI franchise is that each film has a unique style, all it's own. I'd rather see a forth installment instead of a sequel to MI:3. Either way, I'll go to see it. Could Abrams be the new Paula Wagner?

@Jay Turber: If you made a statement like that about a jewish actor, your statement would probably be labeled antisemitic. Just wanted to point that out.

i still dont know why so many people hate mi3, it was a great actioner, however it would have been better if abrams directed the 4th one.

His personal shenanigans aside, I've always enjoyed the films that Tom Cruise has starred in, dating all the way back to Risky Business. Are they Oscar Bait? Usually; however, they are always enjoyable and often times action-packed thrillrides. Mission: Impossible was great fun and MiIII was another well-crafted tale of espionage.

Suffice it to say: I cannot wait for MiIV. Long live JJ Abrams.

I also am a huge Cruise fan and believe it to be sad that people would judge him on his religious beliefs and boycott his amazing films. He is one of the best actors of our time!!! MI:4 will be just as good as the third installment!
