Mike Judge and Jason Bateman Together for 'Extract'
This is cause for a little excitement
I didn't really like Idiocracy as much as some of the other online writers, but it was interesting. I do think Mike Judge got screwed considering how Fox buried it but still has the nuts to release Deception. Explain that to me… please.
Anyway, Judge is getting another stab at a feature film and he is bringing Jason Bateman along for the ride. The film is set up at Judge's own production house, Ternion Prods., with Miramax set to distribute.
The pic is called Extract and it explores what it's like to be the boss when everything seems to be shifting around you. Judge penned the script.
I am not exactly sure where that storyline is going to go, but Judge's comedic style seems like it would be a perfect fit for Batman's delivery. I will keep my eye on this one.
You will be able to see Bateman this summer in Hancock, a film many bloggers are trying to bash, but I think it looks fantastic.
