Michael Bay Already Wrote 'Transformers 2'?
That has to be a genius script...
Exclusive! Exclusive! Exclusive! I just got my hands on Michael Bay's script outline for Transformers 2, here's a snippet:
EARTH
NIGHT
JOKE (knock, knock?)
EXPLOSION
ROBOTS (lots of them) FUCKING BLOW SHIT UP!
ONE ROBOT (possibly Soundwave this time) PEES ON JOHN TURTURRO
JOKE (sex pun)
HOT CHICK
JOKE (did yah ever notice?)
SHIA!
That, of course, is just an early (and fake) outline, but it seems Bay is truly ready to move forward on his robot follow-up as he tells RottenTomatoes, "I've been writing Transformers 2. We've got our characters all designed. I always write all my scripts, my movies anyway so at least I've got something to give the writers. It's like a template. We have a really good outline so I worked on that."
As for going a bit out of the norm and putting the story together himself he said, "We had to because I want to make my date. I'm not going to let the strike take me down."
The date he refers to is the June 26, 2009 release date that has already been set. The strike, should the vote go over favorably, is expected to end tomorrow (Feb. 13, 2008).
