Michael Jackson Dies at the Age of 50

First Ed McMahon and then Farrah Fawcett and now...

No, it's not movie news, but growing up in the age of Michael Jackson I can't help but report this as TMZ was the first to report the passing of pop star Michael Jackson who died after suffering from a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon and paramedics were unable to revive him. Paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.

Jackson was 50 and now joins Ed McMahon and Farrah Fawcett in a week where celebrity deaths are all too common.

Farrah Fawcett died earlier this morning at the age of 62-years-old after battling anal cancer on and off for three years.

Ed McMahon, the loyal "Tonight" show to Johnny Carson, died early Tuesday.

Whoa whoa whoa whaaaat? Other news reports haven't gone as far as to say he's dead but if it's true Jesus… How extremely sudden… for both him and Farrah…

Well, at least the governor of South Carolina must be relieved that he's not in the spotlight anymore.

Billboard magazine editorial director Bill Werde said Jackson's star power was unmatched. "The world just lost the biggest pop star in history, no matter how you cut it," Werde said. "He's literally the king of pop."

RIP King of Pop
