This Wednesday, July 28, Fox Searchlight will release Adam starring Hugh Dancy and Rose Byrne. The film follows the life of Adam (Dancy) as he gets involved with Beth (Byrne), a new neighbor in his building who is attracted to Adam's curious nature and soon intrigued by what he has to offer. As the release date nears Fox Searchlight has taken a different route in releasing clips from the film online and has sent over an exclusive look at director Max Mayer discussing his favorite scene from the film.

While described as a romantic comedy, Adam also deals with a man living with Asperger's syndrome, which will help give you a better idea of where the first scene Mayer discusses is coming from when Adam says, "I can see that you're upset, but I don't know what to do." As for why he is wearing an astronaut's uniform, that I will leave for those of you that see the movie.
