Matt and Kate to Rom-Com It Up Again
This time they find 'Fool's Gold'
If a rom-com duo ain't broke don't fix it, it seems Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson will be this generation's Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan as they How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days duo are set to re-team for Fool's Gold for Warner Bros. and director Andy Tennant.
In the film McConaughey and Hudson play married treasure hunters whose eight-year search for booty leaves them broke and out of gas. Just as they divorce, they stumble upon a missing clue that might lead them to a fortune. Gotta admit, the treasure hunting twist does make this a little more intriguing. Sort of a Romancing the Stone and Jewel of the Nile kind of film.
Production is expected to get underway in Australia in late October.
