Maggie Q Joins 'Die Hard 4'
Casting is filling out
Maggie Q seems to have found her nitch in the action thriller genre as she is set to move from her role in Mission: Impossible III to the 20th Century Fox sequel Live Free or Die Hard.
Q is joining Bruce Willis and Justin Long as Willis reprises his iconic role of John McClane in a story centered on an attack on the U.S.' computer infrastructure that begins to shut the country down. The mysterious figure behind the scheme has figured out every digital angle but never counts on an old-fashioned "analog" McClane. Long will play a smart, younger guy who assists McClane. Q will play a world-class hacker at odds with McClane.
Underworld helmer Len Wiseman directs as production begins this month.
Q will next be seen in the Hannibal Lecter prequel Young Hannibal, which is set for a February 9, 2007 release and Balls of Fury also in 2007.
