Lois Lane is a ‘Laundry Warrior’

Bosworth and Rush join fantasy actioner

Kate Bosworth

Variety is reporting that Geoffrey Rush, Kate Bosworth and Korean star Jang Dong-gun are set to star in Laundry Warrior for writer/director Sngmoo Lee and Lord of the Rings producer Barrie Osborne.

The fantasy actioner will shoot in New Zealand and is budgeted at $40 million. The film tells the story of a fugitive Asian warrior (Jang) who is hiding out in the American badlands, where the town drunk turns out to be another fighter in retirement (Rush) and the circus knife thrower is a young woman (Bosworth) hell-bent on revenge for abuses in her youth. You know, the typical stuff…

Shooting begins Nov. 12 in Auckland and will mark Lee’s directorial debut.
