Liv Tyler Gets Attacked By Cookie Monster?

This can't be right!

Rogue Pictures has debuted the officially new and different, much more to the tone of the film poster for The Strangers over at Shock Till You Drop and it makes the movie look much worse than it actually may be.

I actually think the premise that this film is inspired by true events simply because people get attacked in their homes is really stretching the "based on a true story" angle and the tagline "We Tell Ourselves There's Nothing To Fear But Sometimes We're Wrong" is so silly on just about every level.

The flick actually had one marketing campaign already and was even featured at Comic Con. Recently I was hassled to the point of frustration to remove any and all pictures, trailers, etc. from the site and now this is what we get… An exercise in generic. And with Cookie Monster masks no less!

To check out the full-size version click here or on the teaser pic above. The flick hits theaters on May 30.

Hahaha, absolutely brilliant. not "based on a true story" but "Inspired by true events". Thats a classic.

Transformers, Inspired by true events because there are US soldiers stationed in countries with a deserty feel.
Be Cool, Inspired by true events because some beginning artists do sign bad contracts.
