One of the best performances of the year, no doubt. Michael Shannon not being nominated is also ridiculous. One of my comments in my review was that Sean Penn's performance will probably overshadow the rest of the cast, who are all just phenomenal. I just saw I've Loved You So Long, and I'm sad to see it not on this list. Kristin Scott Thomas was good, but Elsa Zylberstein flat out blew me away. I really hope she lands an Oscar nod.
