Leterrier to Direct Next 'Hulk'

A helmer is set, casting is next

I guess it is fitting that I am sitting in the Seattle-Tacoma Airport on my way to Comic-Con and tap into The Hollywood Reporter only to learn that Transporter 2 director, Louis Leterrier is set to direct The Incredible Hulk for Marvel Studios.

According to the article Leterrier was approached with the idea a while back and in an effort to show his interest he went back to his studio and, with the help of an artist, storyboarded two action sequences and developed a take on the monster.

X2 and X3 scripter Zak Penn is tackling the screenplay with casting set to begin shortly. According to the latest rumors Eric Bana will not be back to play the big green guy despite a few quotes here and there that show he may be interested.
