Wow, and I expected 'The Spirit' to at least be a hard-R

Lionsgate’s The Spirit really has me worried now, if there was anything I assumed this film would be it was that it would be rated R.

Rated R For pervasive language, some strong sexuality including dialogue, nudity, and for drug content.
Release Date: January 16, 2009
Rated PG-13 For intense sequences of stylized violence and action, some sexual content and brief nudity.
Release Date: December 25, 2008

Not surprising at all actually, if you know anything of the source material. Definitely not R rated stuff. The movie still looks like absolute shit though.

Why does Samuel L. Jackson have to be in every movie? Feeling neutral on The Spirit movie.

I think he is jealous of Kevin Bacon and wants to have his own "Six Degrees of…" formula.
